Pivot Plateau

Pivot Plateau is a new indie band from Malmö with a wide range of influences, from the 90s quiet-to-loud dynamics of grunge to chamber pop and soul. The sudden pivots take the audience from an intimate place of vulnerability to a plateau of attitude, which also describes Frida as the 0-100 persona she is.

The six-piece is based around front woman and lead singer / songwriter Frida Mattsson, who relocated from London to Malmö. Frida has been writing songs since she was 8 y/o and is all about the craft and conveying her many emotions. A quick look at her songwriting shows off lighthearted quirkiness, but reading into it there is a depth and melancholic meaning behind her every lyric. Backed up by two backing vocalists and a ragtag group of local musicians, she is ready to pivot on plateaus.
