The New Weavers are an 8-piece band doing their utmost to take you back to the early seventies when music sounded better, the hair was a bit longer and moustaches weren’t a
fashion statement.
Get ready for catchy refrains, guitar solos and a sh*tload of percussion. With songs like “Don’t Make a Scene”, “How are you doin’, Maggie” and “Santana’s Lick Stick”, there’s absolutely no way you won’t shake your hips. If you’re into Stones, Creedence or Faces you will dig The New Weavers.
The New Weavers started out as a duo consisting of Morten Thuesen (Gtr/vox) and Peter Kræg Pedersen (Bass/vox), but along the way they picked up a gang of passionate, fellow
musicians. This turned into the current band known for their energetic live performances and an immense joy for playing live. “We record music to get on the road and play it live!”,
Dave & Earl The Band
Dave & Earl The Band er et skranglete folkrockband fra Kristiansand. De to bestekompisene dyrker dialekten sin med sanger om kjærlighet, savn og drikking. Musikalsk tar bandet inspirasjon fra gamle helter som Bob Dylan og The Kinks samt nyere acts som Hvitmalt Gjerde. De sørlandske tekstene er alltid i fokus, men bandet har også en stor kjærlighet for fengende melodier og energiske soloer.
David og Erlend har vært bestevenner i 16 år og har laget musikk sammen i 10 av dem. I 2022 samlet de sammen de beste sangene sine og ga ut debutalbumet Dave & Earl The Best Of Album på eget label. 8. september 2024 ga de ut sitt andre album, Dave The Solo Album. Dette albumet består hovedsakelig av låter skrevet av David og lener seg enda sterkere på visetradisjonen enn foregående album. Utgivelsen feires med turné i Norge og Sverige.
After self-recording and releasing two independent singles and one EP in 2021, "atom" Chris Dall went from being a lo-fi punk one-manproject to being part of a high-energy garage rock power trio. This happened in an old war bunker in Nørrebro, Copenhagen where"atom" Chris (real name Christoffer Dall) was joined by drummer Martin Woodwine and bassist Jon Bille Rask. The new ensemble,"atom" Chris Dall & Powerband, quickly developed a live set and played a steady line of concerts in various garage rock/psych/punkvenues in Copenhagen. They soon built a reputation as a highly convincing live act that showed concertgoers how melodic garage rock,punk-sonics and lyrics in their native tongue blend together like fuel and fire!
“Atom” Chris Dall & Powerband
ACD&PB take their inspiration from artists like Ty Segall, King Tuff, Presidents of The United States of America, The Black Keys and JayReatard. You can trace all from 70’s punk with added handclaps to Stones-inspired blues rock to fuzzed out soul and to manic 90’svibes in the band’s discography. The music is loose although heavy on rhythm, fumbling, flying yet grainy and rough. Dall's whimsical,naïve, and borderline poetic lyrics are inhabited by self-reflection, self-destruction, the love of women, romantic ideals plus the desireto live forever, knowing that this (thankfully) will never happen.
Their latest ep ‘Hjertebørn’ was released on 4 November 2022, and their sophmore record ‘Selvfedisme’ was released in 2023. Bothhave gained positive reveiws from underground webmagazines and airplay on indipendent rock radiostations.
ACD&PB currently consists of "atom" Chris Dall, Martin Woodvine and Flavio Galgano.
